Who I am
Robert Mackay. I have two areas that I have expertise/experience in.
Property Development – Project Manager/Owner of various development Companies and Consortium’s.
Music – CEO & owner of Pacific International Music – Producer, Engineer, Session Musician, Songwriter and Music Arranger.
What I do
Property – identify viable development projects (mostly residential), organise development funding and co ordinate all aspects from approvals through to civil works completion, plan sealing and title registration of developed lots.
Music – recording music for artists to broadcast quality – assisting in release strategies, promotional content creation for social media. I work with School groups and work experience students in assisting them to understand the reality of the music business.
My strengths
I have loads of experience in both aforementioned fields and am a good communicator and motivator. I am happy to help someone who is prepared to help themselves.
My industry background
Property Development – 40 years experience developing over 1,000 lots including 10 years experience as an agent and 10 years in marketing.
Music. I have run a music business (Pacific International Music P/L) focused on publishing and song placement and recording Studio for 20 years – have recorded over 160 albums, have worked in Nashville TN USA extensively. I play in several bands and tour with other artists as a session player.
How I support a mentee
A slow practical historical approach based on honest and ethical principles but adaption to the modern world. I have inspired several work experience students and young artists to various levels of success.
