Property, Major city shaping infrastructure projects, asset management transformation, general management, risk management, 35+ years in Government property and planning environments, entrepreneur, renewable energy.
What I do
Currently working on SunLife Plaza development at Pialba, a 150 room Radisson, 150 apartment tower and mixed use commercial development. Leading SkyTower development at Ramada – 8 storey extension. Leading SunLife Warwick subdivision — 96 lots. Leading ABFX (Australian Business Finance Exchange) a clearing house and finance referal service for property developers.
Board member of Australian Risk Policy Institute (ARPI) – a leading strategic risk management policy group influencing risk management at a global level.
My strengths
Practical experience, learned by working from the ground up and into senior executive roles. A practical (and innovative) approach to problem solving. Developing a vision and a roadmap for learning and achievement and how this can give focus and clarity on a day to day basis. I am a good sounding board for ideas, with an optimistic viewpoint, grounded in the practical world.

Head of Projects – Justice and Community Safety Directorate – implemented a 10 year program of new builds and upgrades to Emergency services facilities, plus doubled capacity of the ACT’s prison, led ACT Courts Redevelopment project.
How I support a mentee
Enable conversations, clarify what the Mentee is seeking by way of knowledge and insights, clarify how I can focus on their needs, set out a program of achievement – high level dot points that are easy to understand. Act as a mentor for their self guided discovery to acquire new/upgraded skills. Provide feedback and seed ideas and concepts for their focus. Support with conversations and material as required.

Someone who has an open mind to learning. Someone who has practical, realisable outcomes they want to achieve. Someone clear on what they are seeking. Someone with an open mind who can respond to open questions.
A personal note
I am passionate about legacy and making a meaningful contribution to life. I resonate with people who have gratitude, respect and love for themselves and the people around them. I am an optimist at heart and am a glass half full type of person. I like sunshine, fresh air and positive people!
